Manuel Inoa from La Aurora joins the show.

La Aurora’s master blender, Manuel Inoa, has been crafting memorable cigars for the past 35 years.

For the industrial engineer, who worked alongside Benji Menendez at General Cigar Co.'s factory in Santiago's first free trade zone, cigars have become his calling.

“I wasn’t born into a tobacco family. I am one of the only blenders who doesn’t have a family tradition behind him when it comes to making cigars or growing tobacco.
When I started working in the factory to improve quality and efficiencies, I became related to tobacco and fell in love. It was love at first sight. When I saw tobacco and people enjoying it, I forgot all about industrial engineering. I loved the passion behind it.”

Today, La Aurora is one of the most widely acknowledged and most respected cigar factories in the world.
We’ll be discussing Manuel's colorful journey with premium cigars, exceptional skills as a master blender, and the century-old success story that is La Aurora.
